tennis club rules

1. The club and facilities are for the use of tennis members and guests only.
2. All players must check-in upon arrival and complete payment at the Pro Shop before entering the court. Each player utilizing the court must be properly listed on the master court bookings.
3. Members must register guests before playing.
4. The guest fee must be paid prior to playing.
5. Respect club property.
6. Please do not leave personal items in the club. 
7. Use the garbage and recycling bins provided in the club.
8. Please avoid the use of cell phones during play on the courts.
9. Do not use abusive language on the courts and inside the club.
10. Smoking is not permitted on club property.
11. Please do not bring pets inside the club.
12. Proper tennis apparel should be worn at all times. This includes shirts at all times & proper soft court shoes.
13. Show respect and courtesy to your opponent(s), your partner, and others on or near the courts. Keep your voice down and confined to your court as much as possible so as not to disrupt players on adjacent courts. 
14. A maximum of 4 players is allowed on the court at one time (except during club activities such as clinics or social activities).
15. When others are waiting, playing time is limited to 1 1/2 hours for singles and 2 hours for doubles. Otherwise, courts may be used on a first-come, first-served basis.
16. Players may use a maximum of 6 tennis balls on the court. Baskets of balls are not permitted. The exception applies to the club coaching staff and/or a member practicing serves, provided he or she is the only one on the court. 
17. To retrieve a ball from another court, wait until the players have completed a point to ask them to return it to you. To return a ball to another court, wait for a break in play on their court or roll the ball to the back of their court. Under no circumstances should you run over onto their court in the middle of a point to retrieve the ball yourself.

19. Please be courteous to your fellow playing members while entering and exiting a court. ​
